If you are on your computer, it is ok. If you move off to OSRS gold do assignments, it's not. It doesn't even matter. To be frankly honest, believing they DO auto log you even if you are in a battle at say, bandits, giant spiders, and the other AFK'capable training areas, I don't think anyone has gotten prohibited - and it would not even be bannable, I'd presume - out of AFK'ing.
It is not like Jagex includes a video camera of you while you are playing. However, yeah, even if you go away then yes you are AFK but browsing youtube while fishing, or doing assignments while fishing is alright. Thanks! This is the type of response I was searching for. What I have learned:If I am still there, it's alright. If I depart for a moment for the bath or something, it is alright.
If I leave forever, it isn't alright. It is okay as in you won't get banned, but it is still technically bannable. However, considering how hard it's to establish - I'm pretty sure Jagex doesn't know whether you were searching forums or whatever - it doesn't matter. If I'm on the computer, it's still fine? Everything is alright. You won't get banned for AFK training. The whole concept is ridiculous to me. They basically are only trying to induce you to be on Runescape as far as you can. You are not using a bot if you AFK train, so what is the big thing.
